I added a simple user profile feature to Tilemap Town where you can fill out a profile about yourself, like Second Life has. You can write about yourself, your interests and what you're looking to do on Tilemap Town, and you can set up a table with a list of accounts and such.

Previously I noticed some people used their character description for this, which isn't ideal since each of your characters have their own separate description, though if you never use morphs I guess it doesn't matter.

You can still do that, and now people can look at those description by clicking a "view profile" button instead of an "edit" button.

For a service that's not designed around constantly being online and that doesn't send email notifications (it doesn't even collect your email during registration; maybe it should?), it seemed very important to be able to easily leave a note for your friends to know where they can find you, if you want.

In the future it could be nice to have some sort of directory, but in the meantime you can use the /openprofile command if you know the person's username.
